Gavin first wrote for Nintendo Life in 2018 before joining the site full-time the following year, rising through the ranks to become Editor. He can currently be found squashed beneath a Switch backlog the size of Normandy.
A reformed Sega kid, it was the Mega Drive that got him hooked on video games, with a sprinkling of NES classics planting the seeds that would lead him to transition to the Nintendo life with the N64. His love for Banjo-Kazooie borders on the unhealthy.
Gavin loves a bit of couch co-op, especially when he gets to delegate roles, bark instructions, and give much-appreciated performance feedback at the end. He lives in Spain with his six GameCubes.
