Topic: Switch Physical Boxed Games List & Release Dates (US & CA)

The boxart for Tiny Barbarian DX was just released, and it's a looker.

I am wondering about that as well, haven't heard anything, frustrating that they do not even give a broad ETA... Also does anyone know where the physical Shantae would be released? Because I live in the Netherlands and rather not pay 50 euro's (after importing) for something that is half that in the eshop.

Sorry for the quote pyramid. WayForward confirmed on Twitter a day later of the announcement that their original publisher will be handling the release of their physical version of the game.

So what does that entail? Does it say anything about when and where it is going to be released?

No sadly, only that it is being released. I'd wager it will be post Risky Boots DLC to make it nore enticing for repurchases.

I am jealous of all the physical releases in US. Feels like UK wants to go digital

@GrailUK I think that's in part true, the UK has been going more digital in everything, from gaming to TV (goodbye analogue) to even the fact the high street is practically dead in anywhere other than cities.

However I also wonder if perhaps we are heading down the Japanese route where it's all about mobile gaming and consoles become more and more niche? Research I looked up last year for a business plan shows that could well be the case.

Only if you import from Japan, but the game translates to English (or French) if you do and have your system set to those languages.

Thank You. Actually game has nice promo on e-shop, but I preefer to buy a physical copy of the game. But If it release in box only in Japan, import cost are to high for me (around 70 euro). Time to buy digital copy.

Wasn't it said during E3 that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 would release in December of this year? Or has that changed?

I don't ever post in the forums, just the articles, but I wanted to take the time to thank you for this.

It's not easy finding a true, honest, and easy listing of releases for the Switch and definitely not on the physical side as they all get lumped in. Even this site used to do a fantastic job of that a revision ago and that's gone which is what I had used.

I've bookmarked this gem. I'm seeing a few games right now on that list of this day I did not know about at all like Soldam which supposedly popped up yesterday?

The list is missing Dragon Quest Builders 2 which was announced and as far as I know is a physical title.
