Publisher Red Art Games has announced that Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast will launch in the West on Switch on 25th October 2024.
Digital and physical copies will be available, with Red Art Games offering Deluxe and Collector's editions via its official website. The Deluxe edition will include a copy of the game, an exclusive sleeve with alternative artwork, a sticker sheet, and a soundtrack CD. The Collector's edition, meanwhile, will include the game, a steelbook case, a double-sided acrylic stand, a poster, and a sticker sheet.
The game is the first playable adaptation of the light novel and manga series, which first started in 2016. It also received an anime adaptation in 2018 and a movie, titled Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown in 2020. Fans will likely need no convincing, of course, but if you're unfamiliar with the series, then the pixel art visuals and tactical gameplay may persuade you to check it out later this year.
Let's check out the key features:
- Brand new story by Goblin Slayer creator Kumo Kagyu
- Character designs by Noboru Kannatsuki
- Tactical RPG with many character combinations
- Beautiful pixel art characters
- Appearances by the main characters of the original series
- Japanese dub featuring famous voice actors
- English localization
What do you make of this one? Are you interested in picking it up when it launches in October? Let us know with a comment.

Yoooo
Legitimately awesome. I almost never buy anime tie-ins, but I love Goblin Slayer, and really love tactics games, so this makes it a perfect fit for me!
Great choice of gameplay style, too. Fits well with the series' focus on fighting intelligently, considering positioning, and using all tools at your disposal when appropriate.
Looks nice, may check it out soon.
Already have both physical and CE. Now waiting for English support update. ♡
@Emmerichcoal
Patch was cancelled it seems

@Rayquaza2510 It wasn't canceled, just delayed. Here's the current status:
Note: English language support will be available after the product release date. Please wait for further information regarding the updated schedule for the English version of the game.
With that said, who knows how much longer we'll be waiting. I'm in the process of canceling my Japanese version now and I'll order this one.
«Japanese dub featuring famous voice actors»
Japanese dub? Lol. Japanese voice-overs are original ones, so, it's stupid to call Japanese voice-overs as «dub».
@Emmerichcoal I’m in the same boat. When I was told later by PlayAsia that the game went from English on cart to English via patch, I didn’t expect it to be 7 months and still nothing.
Wait... A SRPG coming out on October 25th, my birthday? Dang, looks good too. Guess I know what I'll be getting this year.
Tactics games don’t rank amongst my favorite genres, but I am a fan of Goblin Slayer and pixel art. I’ll pick it up if it has a reasonable critic reception.
@Rayquaza2510 I got the email from playasia about that before my order was shipped. And I still wanted it as the devs said, that English support was indeed coming as a patch. I hope it'll be updated before the western release....
Nice, I prefer if the game is metroidvania and ladybug (maker of deedlit in wonder labyrinth) is the one making it, but trpg like final fantasy tactics is fine too
Cool, but man the first episode of the anime scarred me lol straight up horror
Ha. Love the anime series. I like the gaming tactics games genre too. So will defo be checking this nouri out!
Never watched the series but I think someone on this site had what I think is the goblin slayer in the armor with the red eye as their avatar. Always thought that looked cool and this game does too. I see this is pixel art, turn based strategy and now I'm all but sold.
This is now on my calendar!
@ChromaticDracula I loved the anime, but the first episode scarred me. Just skip the first episode if you try it for yourself... Still a little afraid to try the second season in case they go for another episode of shock value 🫣
....but does the game feature horny goblins? lol
@Ulysses lol oh boy well now I feel like I have to watch episode 1 haha
Seriously though, good to know about the anime being good. Lots of positive comments in here too so I guess I’ll be checking this out then.
I wonder if they will actually stick with the story with the goblins being ra*ey goblins. The story is very dark and interesting. Makes what the slayer does honorable. Such a good man
Haven't read/watched Goblin Slayer yet (although I do know certain aspects of it including what some comments mentioned - doubt the game will be as explicit despite the 18 rating, we'll see), but this game looks great so if it ends up being just as good as it looks I'll eventually get it for sure!
Never heard of the show but if the tactics are good then I will show up.
