You've probably cooked all sorts of delights (and not-so-tasty dishes) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and if you're interested in applying these skills to the real world, then this new "unofficial" cookbook based on The Legend of Zelda series might be for you.
This is the '2nd Unofficial Legend Of Zelda Cookbook' by Aimee Wood, which is described as an "expansion pack sequel with 90+ unofficial new recipes". It's a 200+ page expansion, with more than nine new chapters and there'll even be collector's editions.
The Kickstarter has already knocked the $4,000 USD goal out of the park. It actually hit this goal in just 15 minutes, and four days later has now surpassed $70,000 USD. The standard edition of the book is estimated to be delivered to backers in May 2025. As for recipes - Zelda fans can look forward to all sorts of tasty selections covering items like cheese, pizza, baked goods, and even cheesecakes!
"This expansion pack now has over 100 new recipes, and will have a special shiny collector's edition due to the kickstarter's success! Explore a whole new culinary adventure inspired by Zelda games over the last five years-- Cheesemaking! Pizzas! Dark Clumps! Alongside all new Hyrulian themed elixirs, skewers, desserts, soups, and more! It's still dangerous to cook alone... take this too?"
Back in 2019, we covered the first unofficial Zelda cookbook on Kickstarter, which also smashed its initial goal. Would you be interested in the second volume? Let us know in the comments.

Inb4 Nintendo's lawyers get wind of this.
I've already backed the first Master Edition. The book itself was so high quality with it's gold stamped embossing, the faux leather binding and the rounded edge. And the recipes are really fun and tasty. She even implemented choose your own adventure Skewer Recipe! Plus the quests she made for extra hearts and stuff beside the backer name are such a cool idea.
I'm so looking forward to this second one ^^
Another one riding the Nintendo pony!
Doubt I'll get it myself anytime soon as I'm not much of a cook, but happy for those interested!
Hhhmm, with this kind of thing I'm realistically not going to make the food, maybe one or two but usually I want it for the novelty factor and it's not really cutting it for me there.
The hardback edition is beautiful on the outside, 10/10 no notes for that one, but it apparently not guaranteed to look that way? And the standard edition needs a graphic designer to be hired to sort out that cover.
Also it's been really hard to see what the pages of these books look like, I had to go to their Etsy via the Kickstarter where I found one photo showing a full page. They're black and white and they have no photos or illustrations of the food. Maybe there are chunks of full colour photos interspersed, but the fact they're not showing them off makes me think not?
I dunno, I really like this idea, I wish them the best of luck with it but I need a bit more.
@Chinesus At least they now have extra money for legal fees.
I have a friend at work who made several BotW dishes that looked identical to the in-game models. He even made his own Goron spice with a replica bottle and label. He let us sample some of his creations, and they were delicious.
Wish I could share some pictures, but he's a private individual and doesn't like to share his work outside of a close circle of friends and family and, occasionally, coworkers.
Is there an official cookbook timeline?
Intriguing. Might be a nice companion for my Star Trek cookbook. So far I've made Captain Sisko's jambalaya, and Captain Janeway's Welsh Rarebit, both of which were delicious.
backed it on the first day
