Topic: the most useful amiibo

please tell me which are the most useful amiibo (top 3). I am interested in the content added in the game. First, the amiibo should be supported by as many games as possible (which games are specified in the tags). Secondly, the added content should be more or less unique and useful. Another small request, send their image and not just the name.

I don't have an image to hand but I'd say Wolf Link has some of the most unique functionality. It gives you a Wolf Link villager in Animal Crossing New Leaf (though some of the other Link amiibo do this too), a bonus dungeon in Twilight Princess HD, and a wolf companion in Breath of the Wild.

Here’s a list of games and if you click on a specific game it shows the compatible amiibos in each. Depending on what games you have already/plan to have, this might be the best way to check and compare the comparability of each character. I didn’t sort through the games much, but I’d say the most compatible characters are likely “generic” ones like Mario, Link, or Kirby. I would definitely check these charts though, especially if you want a more unique amiibo than just Mario.

I’m quite fond of my Yarn Yoshi amiibo. Though I’m not sure if it’s the “most useful”. It all really depends on the games you plan to use them for.

But I suppose you could go with a Link’s Awakening Link. It is considered as a Link in basically every game that recognizes Link (of which there’s a lot), and then it has unique functionality in a few games (and it’s compatible with every other game that will take any amiibo, of course).

If you want something specifically for animal crossing, then I’d recommend getting a pack of AC amiibo cards and seeing what you get!

As far as Link goes (aside from Wolf Link, which btw doesn’t count as a generic Link), the Smash & TP versions give a maxed out Epona in the OW Zeldas.
