5 years on and I still don't get why SNES games were New 3DS exclusive.
Your first anything is important; a memory you don't want to forget. That's what makes nostalgia such a fascinating concept. That's why many people enjoy games that have aged well.
@Link-Hero Oh, thanks. I just assumed it was an attempt to get people to buy the new model.

@d0nkeyk0ng_jR You aren’t alone. I prefer the US version to the super famicom. Wonderful library although too many games that died on that system.

Mainly licensed games (some which are very good like Sailormoon: Another Story or just forgotten gems like EVO) but I still have to dig out my system from time to time.

@Anti-Matter not a snes, but growing up a played a ton of acme all stars on genesis. Wow, great times with that game. I actually completely forgot about it until you posted that video.
Hi everyone! Just to keep everyone interested and keep conversations going, I'll pe posting a question every week! So for this week's question: What is the SNES's best feature in your opinion?

Saving on cartridge (remember how much of a pain passwords were?)
Multiplayer (had some kickass times on Super Mario Kart, et al.)
AV connectivity - no more tuning the console into the TV which could take forever
The graphics were great for the time on a lot of titles
Controller was a lot more comfortable than the NES one in my opinion
And the durable controller - threw it in rage that often as a kid and it never busted
I'm very old (and child-like, ask my mrs ) and I bought the jap snes when it came out from an import shop in Streatham... can't remember the name of the shop.
I bought the console with (obviously ) SMW, a golf game and, I seem to recall, F-Zero.
My favourite console ever.
