@d0nkeyk0ng_jR You're obviously a lot younger than me, and I'm certainly not belittling you because of your youth but F-Zero was mind blowing in 1990.
A truly wonderful racer.
And still is imho.
I never owned a SNES, I was a Sega kid back then.
But a cousin of mine had one, we played quite a lot of Super Mario Kart and WWF games on it, 't was nice.
Currently I'm on Super Metroid on NSO, trying to catch up with the good games I missed in my youth.
Since January 2021 owner of my first real Nintendo "home" console.
The SNES is hands down my favorite console of all time (followed by the Switch and PlayStation 2), just so many great memories from that system.
My top five games for the SNES are...
5. A Link to the Past
4. Chrono Trigger
3. Super Metroid
2. Donkey Kong Country 2
1. Super Mario World
Honestly, Super Mario World is IMO the greatest game ever, I try and do a playthrough once every year. Also can't go wrong with the other Donkey Kong Country games either, plus so many memories playing Tetris Attack with my mom (it was one of the few games she would actually play)
One question:
Now it's been added to NSO, is it worth to play Earthbound if after I saw the AVGN's video about that game?
After all I got spoiled the main parts of the story.

@ophone I've only played a very small amont of Earthbound, but even with the short amount of time I had with it, I would say yes. Earthbound, even with the story spoiled, Is an incredibly unique and amazing experience.
@Yoshi2 I have one as well. There's a decent selection of games on it, plus there's a couple games that I never got prior to getting the SNES Classic, Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy VI spring to mind. Though, I don't have mine hooked up currently. Been playing the Switch a lot more, lol.
@d0nkeyk0ng_jR From what I played of Secret of Mana, I like it quite a bit. I should get to playing more of it at some point, once I get super into it I'll get to trying out Trials of Mana. As for Final Fantasy VI, I think it's a good game for sure, though I got stuck within the first few hours. I may need to start anew as a result. I did hear it's one of the best FF games alongside VII.
1) Final Fantasy III (VI)
2) Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
3) Final Fantasy II (IV)
4) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
5) Super Metroid
One of my least favorite Nintendo consoles, but it did have a handful of really good games on it.
Unfortunately, a large chunk of its most interesting games (Shin Megami Tensei, Clock Tower, Front Mission, Dragon Quest V, etc.) were never localized.
