Blazing Star comes highly recommended.I was a huge shoot-em-up fan back in the day, Hellfire on Megadrive being my favourite. I'd never played any Neo Geo shmups until now though. After playing Blazing Star I've got a huge urge to play more so I'm going to buy Last Resort later today . if I enjoy that then I'll get Alpha Mission 2 as well. Hopefully Pulstar comes soon as that's supposed to the best one on Neo Geo. With Sine Mora also on the way this old shoot-em-up fan couldn't be happier.
I'm kind of surprised no one's mentioned Oceanhorn here. While short (10-15 hours) it is very heavily influenced by the Zelda series. I found it to be a nice fix after I had done everything I wanted to in BOTW.
@maruse Implosion is worth the asking price, IMHO. Looks good, plays well, decent sound, over the top sci-fi anime-style story and loads of action, with upgrades adding some mild RPG elements. Probably would not shell out 30 beans, but for a tenner? Yep. I suspect it'll get 7 or 8 from NL - although many mobile ports don't really get a fair reception (see Oceanhorn).
Hi guys. Anyone have any suggestions as to what order I should get these items im listing below? I wanna play something with my work friends and my little brother.
1. Snipper Clippers and Metal Slug in Eshop(or what ever is there I can get for a $50 eshop card)
2. Mario Kart
3. Arms (but I only have one joy con set.)
4. Splatoon 2
5. 2nd Joy Con Set
6. Pro Controller
@redredred Mario Kart 8 and ARMS are definitely worth it for local multiplayer. But if you haven't played the original MK8, then get deluxe, it's the best multiplayer game right now for the switch.

Hey guys, I'm interested in a good RPG game right now. If I had to choose between Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia for 3ds, or Disgaea 5 for switch, which one would you recommend? I loved FE Awakening and Fates, and I also enjoyed the demo for Disgaea 5. I've heard mixed to positive reviews for Echoes, but I want to hear your opinions.

I'm thinking about possibly looking into Splatoon 2. The problem is: the Switch's wifi connection is still abysmal, and is especially bad in high traffic. Seeing as Splatoon 2 is mostly intended to be a multiplayer game, it almost seems pointless to get it when wifi is still so bad. But I've heard good things about it and I didn't play the original. What do people think?
Hi everyone, Finally found a SWITCH on amazon, I have Zelda and MK8, and am thinking of Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odessy, ARMS, and Mario and Rabbids Kingdom. But mostly I just wanted to say HI to everyone and introduce myself.
Feel free to add me and contact me
Darn you Nintendo, my backlog is already out of control and you are just making it worse with these new game announcements!!!!
@Reginald My wifi isn't great,my router is shared between a few others on my landing, yet my connection with my Switch is really good, much better than it was on Wii U.Have you tried altering your DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the 2nd one? It's one of the steps recommended by Nintendo. You can alter your IP too by adding on 10 to the last 2 digits. If your IP ends say .03 you can change it to .13. It might not work for you but it's worth a try,it helped improve my Wii U connection a lot.If still no improvement, then a wired connection is the way to go if it's possible for you.I'm not able to have a wired connection as my neighbors will complain
Everyone keeps telling me to just dock my Switch and play on LAN. I get that it is much more reliable, but I play my Switch exclusively as a handheld. I don't have a place to play it as a console, and if I did, it means I would have to share it with my aggressive brother. Well, thanks anyway. Apparently you can still get the rage quitter error message even if your wifi disconnects in earnest, so I guess I'm not getting this.
@Samus7Killer Cave Story+ in general is worth it. But I'm not sure if paying the full price for the Switch version is, especially considering its lack of certain features (the original graphics are only available in an update). I would personally just get it off Steam as it is so much cheaper there and you essentially get the same complete package.
The Steam version's challenge mode is bugged though, and cannot be completed. They never fixed that. I don't know if the Switch version is the same or not.
