@dbcoolhull11 Strikers 1945 is a pretty solid shooter. With 5 different planes to choose from, a nice range of difficulty options to pick from, a seperate option screen similar to the NEO GEO games where you can set your number of lives is great! So far it's easily the best shooter on the Switch and it's selling pretty well so far. If you like the "Raiden" series then I definitely recommend because this is like that but improved.
People keep talking of Nintendo bringing classics to the switch. When this happens, wouldn't it be great to get SNES and GameCube games on the go? The functionality of the new 3ds is great with SNES, but consider playing classics like A Link to The Past or Super Mario Sunshine on your big screen, then taking it off the dock to play on a plane. Having the Warioware games would also be great
Right now I'm on the fence with Sonic Mania, I want a new platformer on my Switch, but I don't know if I'll end up liking Sonic Mania or not, the only Sonic game I've played before was the original, and I remember actually liking it quite a lot, however that was a while back and I haven't touched a Sonic game since. Also just to give a little more of an idea of what platformers I like, I tend to play the more Metroid and Mario styled games.

@Charliestapes040 pro controller all day long, very few multiplayer games require each player to have 2 joy cons and you have to buy the shell for it seperately. I only use the pro controller now when docked and it's genuinely one of the best if not the best pad I've used on any system for some time
Older than I care to remember but have been gaming since owning a wooden Atari 2600 and played pretty much everything inbetween.

@Scrummer Get ARMS. Amazing local co-op fun to be had, just in pairs of 2 though but you can make your own competition if with more. Also nice to go online with 2 people at the same time, just like MK8.
Can anyone recommend any decent single-player experiences which have surprisingly good battery life in Handheld Mode? (4-5 hours perhaps?) ..got a couple of long trips coming up - would love something that could last me the distance
@Scrummer Thanks for the reply! Sonic Mania was definitely high up on my list of games to consider - what sort of battery life are we talking? ..roughly double what you can get out of Zelda? - might be just the thing I'm looking for!
