As a community, we are together rediscovering the IMAGE of the beauty of God. We will be leaning into two spiritual practices that have been cornerstones for people through the ages.

PRAYER

For many people, prayer is a last resort when in reality, prayer is a lifeline, a connection , and a link to God himself. If you are looking to get closer to God, there is no better way than to seek Him in prayer. If you are exploring faith, God & Christianity,
this the best place to start. 
HOW SHOULD I PRAY?

During your 21 days of prayer and fasting experience you will have a daily prayer focus and daily Bible verse to go along with it. These are incredibly helpful as you seek God during the next several weeks.

Fasting is not a diet, it's a spiritual discipline. When we fast we empty ourselves to come closer to God. Fasting is not about getting more of God, but about God getting more of us.
HOW SHOULD I FAST?

SOUL FAST
This fast is a great option if you do not have much experience fasting from food, have health issues, or if you wish to refocus certain areas of your life that are out of balance. For example, you might choose to stop using social media or watching television for the duration of the fast and then carefully bring that element back into your life in healthy doses at the conclusion of the fast.

SELECTIVE FAST
This type of fast involves removing certain elements from your diet. One example of selective fast is the popular "Daniel Fast," during which you remove meat, sweets and bread from your diet and consume water and juice for fluids and fruits and vegetables for food.

PARTIAL FAST
This fast is sometimes called the “Jewish Fast” and involves abstaining from eating any type of food in the morning and afternoon. This can either correlate to specific times of the day, such as 6:00am to 3:00pm or from sun-up to sun-down.

COMPLETE FAST
In this type of fast, you drink only liquids, typically water, with light juices as an option.
